Position:  Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians and Experienced Apprentices - Halifax, N.S.

We continue to grow at ATL-REFAC Limited. Full time positions for Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technicians and Experienced Apprentices that have commercial Refrigeration experience. 

Steady work 12 months a year.

Experience in the Refrigeration & Air Conditioning trade required for those applying for Refrigeration & Air Conditioning technician openings.

Must have valid trade license or applicable apprentice status.

Valid driver's license, clean driver's abstract and clean security background required.

Position: Sales & Business Development Representative

 ATL-REFAC Limited, a locally owned and operated business in Nova Scotia, is looking for a full- time Sales & Business Development Representative to join our growing team. The individual will be responsible for sales functions to drive commercial and residential sales within our Refrigeration/HVAC/Heat Pumps segments of our business. If you are an ambitious, driven individual who can develop new business, then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets at established gross profit guidelines. 
  • Represent company values and professionalism in all dealings with clients, suppliers and colleagues. 
  • Identify prospects and leads, perform business development. 
  • Responding to leads and quote requests in adherence with company procedures. 
  • Perform site visits, meet with prospective customers. 
  • Prepare and deliver customer proposals, presentations, agreements, contracts according to ATL-REFAC Limited terms and conditions. 
  • Manage leads, exceptional follow up and timely turnaround of proposals. 
  • Sales reporting to supervisor as well as regular progress updates. 
  • Working with wider team to build the business. 
  • Use company order processing & CRM systems where applicable. 
  • Work to monthly KPIs to ensure monthly and annual sales targets are achieved. 
  • Participate in marketing functions and activities such as trade shows. 
  • Assist with development of annual sales plans. 
  • Assist with development of annual marketing plans. 
  • Personal and professional development as required. 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Motivated, driven, professional. 
  • Ability to demonstrable sales success. Previous professional sales experience an asset. 
  • Ability to demonstrate negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to work on own and within the team. Minimal supervision ideally. 
  • Experience within the industry an asset but not necessary.
  • Experience within equipment, technical selling, contract management areas an asset but not necessary.
  • General higher education or sales-training and qualifications.
  • Ability to communicate via telephone and email.
  • Presentable and confident in face-to-face meetings.
  • Able to build rapport quickly over phone or face to face.
  • Strong networking skills and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, organizational skills, problem solving skills, detail orientated.
  • Has own vehicle, valid drivers license.
  • Local travel and ability/flexibility to travel outside of main territory, occasional overnight travel is expected. Flexible schedule.
